Tuis helps you make interior design decisions. We collect what we need to provide the service, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account anytime.

What We Collect

• To improve the service based on usage patterns

AI Processing & Data Protection

Tuis uses Anthropic's Claude AI to learn your aesthetic preferences and provide personalized design guidance. Your conversations and uploaded photos are processed to understand your taste and project needs.

How We Protect Your Data

• No AI Training: Your conversations and photos are never used to train AI models
• Secure Processing: All data is transmitted over encrypted connections
• Only what's needed: We send Claude only the conversation and photos required to answer you — not your billing details or account identifiers
• Quality evaluation: Conversation text (your messages and Tuis's replies) is also logged to Braintrust so we can measure and improve response quality. Your photos are never included, the logs are never tied to your account, and identifiers like email addresses and phone numbers are removed first

What We Never Do

• Sell your personal data or photos
• Share your design preferences with other users
• Use your home photos for marketing without permission
• Train AI models on your conversations or images

Outside Services

These are the outside services Tuis sends personal data to, what each one receives, and when it is used. Each receives only what it needs for its part.

• Anthropic (Claude) (the model behind design conversations, Quick Check, preference learning and the Boet assistant). Receives your messages, the room and item photos you add, your room details (name, type, measurements, description and goals), your confirmed choices and your saved preferences (or a client’s, when you plan a room for one). Not your email address, name or billing details. Used whenever you talk with Tuis, run a Quick Check or ask Boet.
• OpenAI (room visualization). Receives your room photo and the text of your confirmed choices, to draw the room with those choices in place. Used only while room visualization is switched on. In development and preview builds our team can also route a design conversation to OpenAI for testing.
• Braintrust (quality measurement). Receives the text of each request to the model and its reply, which can include your messages, item descriptions, room notes and preferences. Photos are replaced with a placeholder, email addresses, phone numbers and card numbers are removed first, and nothing is tied to your account. Used only while quality logging is switched on.
• Supabase (database and file storage). Stores your rooms, choices, conversations, saved preferences, saved checks, the photos you upload and any feedback you send. Used whenever you use Tuis. A photo checked without an account is not stored.
• Clerk (sign-in). Receives your email address, your name if you give one, and your sign-in details. Used whenever you sign up or sign in.
• Stripe (payments). Receives your email address and payment details. We never see your full card number. Used only when you pay or manage billing.
• Resend (email delivery). Receives your email address and name, to send an email about a subscription you hold. Used only for those subscription emails (a welcome note, or a note before a trial ends).
• Vercel (hosting and site analytics). Every request to Tuis passes through its servers, including your IP address. Its analytics receive the pages you visit and how quickly they load, without cookies. Used on every visit.

Data Retention

• Conversation history: Retained while your account is active
• Uploaded photos: Retained for 1 year, then automatically deleted
• Design preferences: Retained while your account is active
• Payment records: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years)

Your Rights

• Access your data anytime from your account
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data upon request
• Opt out of non-essential communications
